Boarding the eastbound train just before sunrise on Sunday, March 16th. There you’ll find large comfortable recliner-type seating with plenty of legroom, no middle seat, electric outlets, free Wi-Fi, and large curtained windows at each seat. There’s a dining cafe and there are NO restrictions to getting up and walking around. The train stops at various cities along the way to Albany. (Do not get off the train prior to our destination.) The train is a great way to travel across the Empire State to Ski the East! Returning home, we’ll leave the resort around 3:00 pm on Friday, March 21st. The train departs Albany station at 7 pm arriving in Cleveland at 4 am (Saturday, March 22nd).

Amtrak Train ticket pricing –  Two free checked bags, (boot bag and ski bag is two bags) two free carry-on bags. Free parking at the train station, which is locked when the station is closed.

CMSC Apparel

**NEW** CMSC Apparel

The Official Gear Shop of the Cleveland Metro Ski Council + Affiliate Clubs

Now available to Chagrin Valley Ski Club Members

This shop was created for one simple reason: to give our members an easy way to represent their Ski Clubs on the slopes, in the lodge, and around town.

  • Our “No-Profit” Commitment, We’re a Community, Not a Retailer: We’re not running this shop to make money for the Council. Our prices are among the lowest you’ll find for quality gear.
  • At-Cost Pricing: Everything is priced as close to production cost as possible. Any tiny “buffer” goes strictly toward administrative fees to keep club finances simple and transparent.
  • No Hidden Fees: Our platform handles all the tax and processing details automatically, keeping our focus exactly where it belongs: on the sport we love.
