Join the Chagrin Valley Ski Club’s early western trip to Copper Mountain, Colorado. Copper Mountain is one of the absolute best ski resorts in the state of Colorado. Few other places offer such an incredible mix of terrain! Trip dates are January 31-February 7, 2026, Space is limited to 42 travelers, so sign up ASAP.
If you haven’t been to Copper before, at Copper you can find it all: steeps, glades, powder, bowls, huge vert, bumps, expansive acreage, excellent kids runs, and of course, naturally divided terrain that sets up the mountain perfectly and provides a nice sampling of every conceivable type of skiing & riding.

The Mountain
- Copper Mountain is conveniently located 90 miles west of Denver airport.
- It includes over 2,500 skiable acres with 15 lifts and 143 trails.
- Plenty of fun runs for any level of skier. 21% green, 25% blue, 36% black or double black.
- Copper also offers a unique experience for expert skiers with free cat skiing on Tucker Mountain.
- The base at Copper Mountain is 9,712 feet with a resort summit elevation of 12,312 feet,
- Other fun things to do include zip lines, tubing, snowshoeing, ice skating and more.
Arapahoe Basin Add-On
Arapahoe Basin – 1 Day Trip ($75pp transportation cost, driver tip included)- Travel to A-Basin aboard a private charter bus (30-40 minute Ride).
- Ikon pass-holders will have resort access. Individual lift ticket pricing TBD.
- A-basin is best known for its EXTREME terrain, and IKONic Views.
- The resort also features intermediate groomers and glades, making it suitable for a range of skill levels.
- You can also ride the gondola up and back down from the summit just to have lunch and take in the views!
Lodging
- Guests will enjoy a 7-night stay at The Cambria Hotel in the heart of Center Village.
- Modern amenities include ski rental in the lobby, on-site ski storage, a restaurant, and a bar.
- Additionally, there are two lifts within walking distance and a shuttle bus for easy access to the East and West Village lifts.
- After a day of outdoor pursuits, unwind in the indoor pool, outdoor hot tubs, or treat yourself to a rejuvenating spa treatment.
- Either 1 king bed or two queen beds per room.
- In room desk, coffee maker, and mini-fridge

Lift Tickets
We have 6 skiable days in Colorado (Copper Mountain and Arapahoe Basin combined). You will need to purchase either an Ikon Base Pass or the Ikon Pass, or individual lift tickets for each resort. All are available through Sports America at the time of registration. Note: If you’re planning to go to Sun Valley with CVSC you will need the Ikon Pass. Pricing is as follows:
Lift ticket cost/options (purchase by end of August) – Purchasing for Copper Mountain is available through Sports America, during the online registration process:
- 4 day group pass is $379 ADULT (AGES 13+)
- 5 day group pass is $445 ADULT (AGES 13+)
- 6 day group pass is $502 ADULT (AGES 13+)
Ikon Base Pass: Adult $939.00 (this is all you need for Copper & A-basin) Ikon season pass
Ikon Pass: Adult $1,279.00 (includes Sun Valley & other resorts) Ikon season pass

Cost & Payments
Package Price: $2,040 (double occupancy)
($500 deposit due at registration)
You will have the option to purchase trip insurance.
Single supplement is an additional $1,239

- Initial Deposit due at registration: $500
- September 1, 2025: $750
- November 1, 2025: Remaining Balance
Notes:
- Membership in the Chagrin Valley Ski Club is required for this trip.
- We have arranged a convenient payment plan for this trip, although full payment can be made at any time. (See schedule during registration)
- PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD: Upon completion of your registration, your guest profile page will include a link to make your deposit. Failure to complete the payment within 15 minutes will result in automatic deletion of your registration. Sports America accepts Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, Check, or Money Order. A 3% fee will be added to all credit card payments.
- PAYMENT BY CHECK: If paying by check, make checks payable to Sports America Tours and mail to: 1700 County Rd, Suite B Minden, NV 89423 MEMO: CHAG26CP. All returned checks are subject to a $25.00 service charge.
- Failure to make proper payments by the due dates will automatically be considered as a request to cancel, and the stated cancellation policy will apply.
Cancellation policy:
- All requests for changes, cancellations or refunds must be made in writing to the trip leaders.
- All deposits are non-refundable unless a replacement participant is found; either by the person cancelling or from a waiting list.
- Cancelling individual may be reimbursed for the trip up to the amount paid less any unrecoverable expenses from vendors.
- Cancellation at any time will result in the loss of travel insurance premium, credit card fees and $25 cancellation fee.
- Airline ticket and Ikon pass are subject to their own cancellation policies.
